This place is a hidden gem and most people I’ve spoken too haven’t heard of it ..well now your about too . Top tier pizza from the guys at hotwood pizza !! Firstly the vibe was cool , packed restaurant with a great atmosphere. So i ordered the garlic bread I believe it was , mac and cheese and the pepperoni pizza . Firstly the garlic bread which was tasty as hell , dough cooked perfectly lovely char around the she’s and under carriage , but I do think the level of garlic can definitely be taken up a couple notches as when I have garlic bread I like it strong that’s just my personal preference and maybe a good drizzle of some garlic butter on before serving as it was a tad try (very tasty though ) I’m just thinking with my chef brain of what can it needs to elevate it further . Next up the mac and cheese ...wow !! Show stopper this phenomenal mac and cheese and the cheese pull didn’t disappoint either one of the best Mac’s I’ve ever had . Lastly the pepperoni pizza .suplime pizza every bite was a joy and it just put a smile on my face , from the sauce to the dough to the bake of the dough .top tier pizza . If you haven’t been here and live in Thanet or kent your living under a rock , I certainly would recommend you book a table ! Another pizza gem in planet Thanet !!. Our first visit and this will be a regular from now on! Everything was 10/10. Friendly accommodating staff, could hear them also looking after their own staff not just the customers! Great little spot
What an absolutely fantastic place, we visited for a Saturday night dinner and it was perfection. The staff and atmosphere is so welcoming and chilled. The tomato and onion salad was a show stopper for me, such perfect balance of flavours . The pizza was just delicious with enough to take home a few left over slices. The cherry on the cake for this experience was the choc ice, white chocolate raspberry ripple, wow oh wow you will never taste anything soooo good! Cannot wait to go back!
So so good as always. So lucky we have this amazing restaurant on our doorstep. We had a Peperoni tonight with their amazing green salad as a takeaway for a Saturday night treat.
Our favourite pizza restaurant in Kent!! Really tasty pizzas, thin & crispy with a delicious tomato base. It's worth the 45min drive down from Gillingham
